The Sheffield Political Economy Research Institute (SPERI) is the APPG’s official partner and provides the secretariat support for the APPG. SPERI is a leading research institute based at the University of Sheffield. SPERI aims to develop new ideas and new ways of thinking about the economic and political challenges posed for the whole world by the current combination of financial crisis, shifting economic power and environmental threat. Through our partnership with SPERI we seek to develop new research that furthers the intellectual and policy debate about the nature of inclusive growth.
